Meet Super Hero Elise Stein!
Elise owns Chuba Creative in Oak Park which employs 2 people.
What does your business do?
Chuba Creative specializes in video marketing for small and medium businesses. We help people and businesses share their hearts and passions and connect with their audience through video.
What is "super" about your business? Why is it special?
We love stories and storytelling and like to take that approach in our videography. Stories are what draw us in and hold our attention, and we think that translates well in marketing.
Tell us a bit about yourself…
When not at Chuba Creative, you can find me running around with our 3 young kids or cooking up a storm in the kitchen.
If you could pick a superpower, what would it be?
I've always wanted to be able to freeze time - I think about all the things I could accomplish without any of the day actually passing.
Why did you choose to invest in our community?
We planted here after graduating college and fell in love with the town. I appreciate all the small businesses and what a uniqueness they each provide that together makes the area such a joy to live in. We want to do our best to help these businesses share their stories and bring the community even closer.
What local organizations have you been able to support in the past?
Hephzibah, Free Church, Calvary Memorial
What's the weirdest thing you sell or offer? Or have there been any odd customer requests?
Our offerings are pretty standard but in a past life working in IT, we fixed a dairy farm's milking computer and installed new IT equipment in a private jet hanger all within the same day - it definitely wasn't your typical day at the office.
Name three of your favorite local businesses (besides yourself, of course!)
Maya Del Sol, Spilt Milk, City Home Vacuum
