Twelve-year-old, Annie, an Oak Park sixth-grader, hosted her 6th annual egg hunt at Lindberg Park on Sunday, April 9. The egg hunt is being held as a fundraiser for the third year, with donation items and money raised going to Hephzibah. Her goal this year was $500. About 70 children, friends and family attended. Annie walked around Oak Park and gathered local store donations for raffle baskets. She had prizes for a variety of distinctions, including most and least eggs found by children. She had over 1,000 eggs ready, stuffed with candy and hidden in Lindberg Park. The egg hunt raised over $1,200 for Hephzibah Children’s Association in Oak Park. Eight children from Hephzibah House attended.
