Oak Park Eats Editor Melissa Elsmo’s husband, Leif Elsmo, has been selected as the newest member of Leadership Greater Chicago’s (LGC) Board of Directors. LGC is a leadership organization that connects and mobilizes the area’s most promising leaders. Elsmo has been an LGC fellow since 2011.
Currently serving as executive director of community and external affairs at UChicago Medicine, Elsmo manages community programs, including the Urban Health Initiative which benefits Chicago’s South Side.
He’s also a really great party host.
