Oak Park chief appointed to state police standards board

Governor J.B. Pritzker has announced five new appointments, including Oak Park Police Chief LaDon Reynolds, to the Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board. The Governor's Office issued the announcement in a June 8 press release.

The Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board is dedicated to promoting and maintaining high standards of professionalism in law enforcement and correctional officers. 

Along with Reynolds, Pritzker appointed Highland Park City Manager Ghida Neukirch; Village of Richton Park Police Chief Elvia Williams; McHenry County Sheriff's Office Chief of Operations and Undersheriff Ricardo Pagán; and Village of Hazel Crest Police Chief Mitchell Davis.
