Oak Park Village Hall, 123 Madison St., reopened to the public June 29 with precautions in place to protect visitors and village staff from contracting COVID-19.

Such precautions include limiting in-person service operations to Monday through Thursday. Fridays, the hall will be closed to the public.

The building will close each day at 5 p.m. The hall will open at 9 a.m. for senior citizens and those at higher risk of contracting COVID-19. It will open at 10 a.m. for all other members of the public.

Everyone who enters village hall is required to wear a mask that covers both the nose and mask. Disposable masks will be available inside village hall for people over the age of two who do not have one. Visitors are also required to practice social distancing.

No more than eight people at one time can occupy the lobby of village hall.
