The River Forest Police Department issued a statement that Howard A. Wax, of River Forest, was reported missing on May 14. River Forest police are working with the Chicago Police Department on the case.
Wax, 52, stands about 5-11, has curly black hair, a full black beard and a V-shaped scar on his right check.
“Preliminary investigation has suggested no foul play is involved,” according to the police statement.
