Downtown Oak Park's second annual Uncork Illinois festival last month did more than just attract wine aficionados.

It also brought in a large crowd, which contributed $17,546 that was donated to Wonder Works, a children's museum in Oak Park. The second-annual event also brought in roughly 2,358 people, which is an increase from last year's debut.

Two more wineries also participated and officials had to cut off registration and turn away other interested parties after reaching the event's capacity.
